Hydraulic test benches

The high-tech tractors from Fendt (AGCO Group) have sophisticated hydraulic systems.

To guarantee that the complex systems function without faults, the heavy tractor bodies are thoroughly tested on special test stands of Krause Automatisierungstechnik extensively before painting.

The hydraulic test stands consist of the test stands, where the tractor hulls are placed - and the associated control rooms: from here the workers can observe the testing safely, and - if necessary - can intervene immediately.

Keep everything in check safely from the control room

By starting the engine and switching all valves of the hull tractor, all hydraulic lines and working cylinders are commissioned with the aid of hydraulic oil - and every part is tested for full functionality.

Leakages or nonconfirming equipments can be displayed and documented already during the test run. In addition, after the test, the entire hydraulic system is checked again by the aid of UV lamps to detect even smallest leakages - and if necessary are corrected.

What is special is that the tractor bodies hang freely in the conveyor system. This permits excellent accessibility for installing all relevant components of the hydraulic system and the testing sensors.

Advantages of the hydraulic test benches

• Quality assurance through automated and reproducible test procedures for all variants of the tractor hulls of Fendt, leakages and errors in the complete hydraulic system (incl. engine, valves, tubes and working cylinders) can be detected and fixed immediately
• Cost reduction through fast and effective troubleshooting. This permits excellent accessibility for installing all relevant components of the hydraulic system and the testing sensors
  
• Increased safety of the employees as they are placed during the test sequence in the control room. Should a check next to the running tractor is required, the special trained staff can easily perform this in a so called 'safe mode' and idle speed of the engine - and with the help of a mobile panel.

All hydraulic test benches were designed so that they can be extended or modified for future models of tractor hulls of Fendt.
